True Blood

Filed under: Media Reviews — admin @ 9:52 pm

Orgy infested sex brigades aside, this show has got me hooked! I just finished Season 2 of True Blood after only starting Season 1 less that a Month ago. It has its corny (“…Sook-eh”). It has its evils. It has just about what every vampire fandom should (like coffins: buffy style). Just about every character you hate just a little but love all the same, or even more. It has a great dynamic between all the different story lines which keeps each hour long episode moving full speed ahead. I just love it, but for some reason I feel dirty because I do…just so much sex!

Now onto season 3!

“Nobody should be allowed to look that good.” -Mother, in reference to Zac Efron (her new found celebcrush)

When I first saw this trailer it caught my attention because it showed a clip of Zac Efron crying or freaking out or something, but either way, he showed some minuscule bit of talent for the first time that I had scene. I went with my mom to see it as a chicky tear jerker-esque movie but I only got teary in a couple scenes. The movie was reasonably predictable, but the big climax still seemed to shock me which made the trip to the much to expensive theater worth it. Over all it was enjoyable but nothing that really gets your brain pistons pumping (I still need to see Inception for that kinda thing).

I made rice crispy treats for the first time today. What I want to know it WHY HAVE I NEVER MADE THEM BEFORE. They are so easy to make and so absolutely delicious it’s not even funny.

Recipe:
Melt 3 Tbsp butter slowly in a pan
Melt a bag of marshmellows
Add 6 cups of rice crispy cereal
Stir and plop that mess into a greased pan

“i r iz bhad at engrish”
My best friend Jess and I broke into our friends house with the help of his sister and posted ridiculous things he has said to us over AIM in the last year all over his room. His parents video taped it too hahaha. Live in fear people, Jess and I are prank masters.

My fellow Travelers,
A lesson in US geography: When driving from Philadelphia, PA to Rehoboth, DE, one does not need to, nor does one want to cross the Maryland state border. It will cost such travelers a three hour time delay and twenty dollars in extra toll charges. Also, Route 1 and Highway 1 are separate roads all together. Who knew? We sure didn’t.

sock con

Filed under: of the fun — admin @ 9:34 pm

Becky and I had the most interesting mall experience tonight. Kicking it off was a “cute guy” (those were his words not mine) who may or may not have conned us into buying overpriced socks to save his job.

We demanded a mug shot with said socks:

Little did he know it would end up in the blog-sphere!

Then we went to another store where they gave you 10$ off for trying on a pair of jeans. Their tricks worked as well seeing as we both bought the jeans we tried on! But the employees there also made our night.

Sometimes being friends with salesmen are fun!
